Shaffer Creative Recognized for Excellence in Construction Marketing!

Shaffer Creative is the recipient of two Construction Marketing Association (CMA) 2017 SUPERSTAR Awards in the categories of Brand Identity: Logo and Brand Identity: Vehicle/Equipment Graphics for Southland Holdings’ Rebrand.

The award-winning entries detailed Southland Holdings’ rebrand to create strong industry recognition and grow knowledge of the firm’s capabilities. Southland Holdings developed a new logo mark and then partnered with Shaffer Creative to develop a unified brand through cohesive logo, marketing collateral design and brand manual. The new logos are more streamlined and professional based on a single graphic, an S-link, symbolizing the link between five companies that comprise Southland Holdings. Brand consistency is now established through internal and external communications, as well as field equipment and industry presence.

The CMA STAR awards recognize excellence in 16 marketing categories and 80 sub-categories, including advertising, branding, website design, social media, brochures, catalogs, new product launches, packaging, photography, promotions, publicity, merchandising, trade shows, videos, employee communications and integrated marketing campaigns, along with Construction Marketer of the Year. The Construction Marketing Association (CMA) sponsors the annual STAR Awards.
