Shaffer Creative and Rogue Water Receive National Marketing Excellence Award
Shaffer Creative, in collaboration with Rogue Water, has joined the 2019 list of Zweig Group’s Marketing Excellence Award Winners!
Zweig Group’s Marketing Excellence Awards recognize outstanding and effective marketing in the AEC industry. This national recognition showcases marketing talent and expertise, with entries judged based on evaluation criteria of overall creativity, messaging, results, and design.
The winning entry received FIRST PLACE in the Brochure Category. The eBrochure, titled “Communicating the Value of Water: How to Nail the Basics,” was created for Master Meter, Inc., a company providing smart water meters for overall water management systems. The publication is an internal communication reference piece for water providers to educate the public about water and provide efficient ways to communicate the value of water. In addition to serving as a marketing piece, the publication is a unique, client-centric education tool. Content was based on research conducted by industry experts covering a variety of topics, such as how the public views the importance of wastewater and sewer services, the percentage of Americans who fundamentally understand the engineering story around wastewater, and how peak seasonal water use increases the cost of water.

Winning entries will be showcased during Zweig Group’s Elevate AEC Conference scheduled for October 2-4, 2019 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Additionally, the top three winners in each category will be on display at the conference for industry peers to vote on for the “People’s Choice Award.” For information and registration, visit the conference website.
