Announcing Lauren Kobzeff, Marketing Strategist

We are pleased to announce Lauren Kobzeff as Shaffer Creative’s newest team member. Lauren will serve in the role of Marketing Strategist for our diverse client and project workload. She is fascinated by the written word and the power of effective communication. To her, a well-placed comma is a work of art. 

Lauren finds particular joy in helping transform concepts from rough ideas to polished reality. Whether she’s crafting copy for a holiday party invitation or performing quality control checks on a multimillion-dollar grant report, she is right at home bringing people together through writing. She has spent most of her wordsmithing career working alongside those in the technical field, serving engineers, medical personnel, and higher-education scholars.

Lauren chaired the Electronic Communications Committee for the Water Environment Association of Texas (WEAT) North Texas Section for nearly three years. During her tenure, she revamped the Section’s popular electronic newsletter and spearheaded its website rebranding efforts. She also served as Secretary for Fort Worth’s very own Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) chapter.

Prior to joining Shaffer Creative, Lauren spent five years in the A/E/C marketing sector followed by four years in the nonprofit world. In addition to her formal employment pursuits, she has provided writing, editing, and design services for select clients since 2004. Lauren holds both a bachelor’s degree in English and a Professional Writing Certificate from Texas A&M University.
