SRC Pre-Conference InDesign Workshop in Fort Worth
Join us in Fort Worth a day early for a Pre-Conference InDesign Workshop at the SMPS Southern Regional Conference.
Julie Shaffer, CPSM, 20-year A/E/C marketer and active InDesign user, will lead an in-depth workshop for intermediate level InDesign users. This workshop is scheduled for January 22, 2020 in Fort Worth and will include hands-on training so participants should bring their laptop.
Julie will lead attendees through time-saving techniques to create A/E/C proposals faster and more efficiently. She will discuss how to improve resumes, organization charts and other common industry-required proposal components. This workshop is aimed at intermediate level skills so attendees should already be comfortable using the program.
Intermediate InDesign 2020 for Proposals will cover:
- Efficient Ways to Create Project Sheets, Resumes, Schedules, and Org charts with:
- Paragraph, Character, and Object Styles (with new features!)
- Next and Nested Styles
- Cell and Table Styles
- Scripts
- Table of Contents (and creative ways to use the feature)

- Custom Dictionary
- Tips and Tricks
